The International Congress on the Deterioration and Conservation of Stone is a quadrennial event that brings together the world-wide community of researchers, managers and practitioners concerned with the conservation of cultural stone structures and objects.

Heuer findet der 14. Kongress der internationalen konservierungswissenschaftlichen Plattform LACONA vom 9. bis 12. September in Bukarest statt.

Neben dem Einsatz des Lasers als beschichtungsabtragendes Tool (z.B. Er.YAG-Laser, UV - IR Nd:YAG Laser, UV-Laser, Femtosecond Laser, Excimer Laser, LQS Laser, Punktlaser Zeilenlaser, Kreislauflaser,….), steht vor allem die Verwendung von laserbasierenden Spezialgerätschaften zur Analyse (z.B. LIBS, Raman Microscopy, LIFS, Laser –Indused Plasma Spectroscopy, Raman Spectrometer, ED-XRF, ,……) und Dokumentation (z.B. Optical Coherene Tomography, sämtliche Scannertypen,…) des kulturellen Erbes im Fokus der Veranstaltung.
