The IAQ conference series (http://IAQ.dk) invites abstracts for the 17th International Conference on Indoor Air Quality in Heritage and Historic Environments (IAQ 2027), to be held in Copenhagen on 16-17 March 2027 and organized by the Royal Danish Academy, Institute of Conservation.

The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for discussions on the influence of indoor air quality on heritage collections and historic interiors, including museums, libraries, archives, historic houses, and churches and other places of worship. We welcome contributions addressing indoor air quality topics such as pollution monitoring and modelling, preventive conservation strategies, impact of and testing for material emissions, sustainable climate and pollution control, risk assessment, energy-efficient building refurbishment, and innovative analytical or mitigation approaches. Practical case studies and experiences from collection care, exhibition design, storage environments, and historic buildings are particularly encouraged.

The IAQ conference series traditionally brings together conservators, conservation scientists, curators, engineers, architects, collection managers, students, and other professionals engaged in the preservation of cultural heritage. Contributions for oral presentations and posters are invited.
